People love the guitar. Some of them like this lovely musical instrument as a stress-buster. The guitar is an instrument that is very easy to play. After learning a few basic chords you can play your favourite songs on it. Rock music uplifted the popularity of Guitar. The Guitar is one of the most popular musical instruments in the USA.
People are mostly familiar with the three main types of Guitar. Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, and Bass Guitar. Acoustic Guitar is a most commonly used type. You might be thinking about the difference between the Electric Guitar and an Acoustic Guitar. an Acoustic guitar amplifies the music you play.
An electric guitar needs a separate amplifier to amplify the sound. this is the main difference between an electric Guitar and Acoustic Guitar. From Kids to adults everyone loves to play guitar but regular size guitar isn't a cup of tea for everyone. Kids, travellers, or adults with small hands and bodies often find it difficult to play with regular-size guitars. For these people, the mini acoustic guitar can be a convenient option. Today we are going to discuss Mini guitars and the 10 best mini guitars in 2022.
GS Mini Guitar
The first thing I liked about GS Mini Guitar is they are very affordable. You can get it for under $600. GS Mini comes with gig bags that make travel so easy. It's not just loud but also has a sweet tone. So when you play it gives a sweet sound. You might be thinking it has a small size which may affect the performance but that's not the case. They are loud, having a sweet and deep tone.
Another important benefit of having Taylor GS Mini is they are travel friendly. Just pack it in the gig bag that comes with it and get ready to go for your trip. Taylor GS Mini is incredibly easy to play. No matter whether you are a beginner or a pro. If you are buying it for your Kid believe me it would be a great choice. Because it does not only travel-friendly and easy to play. It's extremely comfortable so that you can play it as a couch guitar too. Whether you are right-handed or left-handed it fits perfectly to all.
Just one downside I observed is that it doesn't come with pickups.
GS Mini comes with the 8 different models
- GS Mini Mahogany
- GS Mini-e Koa
- GS Mini-e Mahogany

Yamaha FG JR1
If you are a beginner Yamaha JR1 FG junior can be the right choice for you. This compact-sized guitar with a 540mm scale length delivers a soothing acoustic sound. JR1 FG is a perfect gift for your kid. People with large hand sizes may feel it a little bit difficult to play. It's small in size, cheaper, and extremely easy to play. Yamaha used Spruce on top and Locally Sourced Tonewood on the other sides of the Guitar. Please keep in mind that JR1 FG isn't loud and so deep. It's a great choice for practice and learning.

Cons:
Safari Muse
As the name suggests Safari Muse is a travel guitar that comes in 2 varieties. one is Safari Spruce with the Spruce tops and Safari Mahogany. Both the versions come with a Gig bag. It's a compact size guitar which doesn't bother you while traveling. It's cheaper but that doesn't mean sounds bad. Though you can't compare it with a costly guitar it does the job well.
Top with the Spruce and back with the Mahogany made them lightweight and sturdy. Spruce not only offers a good amount of resonance but also adds beauty to the instrument. I feel that it's slightly louder than Yamaha FG JR1. If you are searching for a travel-friendly affordable acoustic guitar Safari Muse can be a good choice. But don't expect too much from it.

Cons:
Cordoba Mini M
One word is enough to tell you about Cordoba Mini M. "A perfect travel partner" Though it's lightweight it's durable and feels sturdy. Spruce top with the Mahogany back delivers balanced mids, highs, and lows. Cordoba Mini M isn't only for Beginners. It's more than that.
Cordoba Mini M has 6 Nylon strings. Build quality is good with an affordable price which is a rare combination. The scale length is 510 mm which means it's very small compared to full-size guitar. The average scale length of a full-size guitar is 65cm. Affordable price, Solid build, loud and balanced sound. these are the qualities that impressed me very much. The downside is its small size gig bag which feels slight inconvenience.
I would prefer to travel without this bag. You need to do some adjustments when you play it for the first time but it's not unusual in my opinion. I saw very few Guitars with this price tag which doesn't need any adjustments for the first time. Overall I am happy to have Cordoba Mini M. Because I didn't want to invest much in the travel guitar and expected durability with the same price tag. Fortunately, I found this option.

Cons:
Luna Aurora Borealis
What is the special in Luna Aurora Borealis? A special thing that I like the most is it looks fabulous. Does that mean it sounds bad? Not at all. It sounds decent. If you are expecting a high-quality sound you will disappoint with it but if you are searching for an acoustic guitar for your kid Luna Aurora Borealis is a perfect choice. I reviewed black sparkles that look amazing but other 4 color variants like Pink Pearl, Teal Sparkle, and Teal Sparkle are also available. Pink pearl can be a lovely gift for your girl child.
It's released in 2013 so you might be thinking it's not fresh but that's not the case Luna Aurora Borealis looks and sounds fresh and energetic even in 2022. Scale length is 22.5 with 19 Frets and 43mm nut width. Though it looks good and is built well some issues that often come with the low-cost guitar is like poor quality wood and average bridge pins that also come with AURORA BOREALIS. Overall it's a kid's guitar. That doesn't mean it's not suitable for beginners but in my opinion, it's better for kids of any age. Aurora Borealis 3/4 is an affordable, attractive and comfortable acoustic guitar that gives pleasure but the sound quality is average with an average build.

Cons:
Coco X cordoba mini
Coco X Mini by Cordoba is a perfect combination of comfort and playability. The main reason for having this combination is the combination of the wood used in the building and the construction of this beautiful instrument.
High-quality material has been used which made the Coco X sturdy as well as produced great sound. With the spruce on top and Mahogany on the back and side, Cordoba took complete care of performance and durability. It has 19 frets and 6 Nylon Strings. Coco X has a dual-action truss rod which offers versatility. It's loud, deep, and vibrant that is perfect for a campfire. dual-action truss rod made tuning easy so that your child will face no issue while tuning it. Overall it's a value for the money, easy to play, and easy to carry acoustic guitar that comes under $200.Pros:
Cons:
Taylor Baby Mahogany (BT2)
Taylor is a prestigious name in the guitar world. I reviewed a couple of Taylor's Acoustic Mini and Full-size guitars. Yes! They are slightly expensive as compared to their rivals but they produce an amazing tonal quality that their rivals can't. This time I reviewed Baby Mahogany (BT2) which costs $449.
It has a solid mahogany top with Layered Sapele Back and Sides. Mahogany is a good quality wood that produces a Bold tone with good resonance. I observed many guitars with laminated backs and sides. This laminated body badly affects sound quality. For the cheaper price laminated body can be considered but if you are paying extra dollars for good quality sound and built I wouldn't suggest purchasing this kind of guitar. The same thing happened with Baby Mahogany (BT2).
Yes! it looks beautiful. They are great fun while traveling due to their size and design but that doesn't mean they are good. If you are paying $450 for good quality sound and build you have other options but Baby Mahogany (BT2) didn't fit my criteria. They aren't valued for the money. It's loud but muddy.
Baby Mahogany (BT2) comes with a good-quality Gig Bag which makes your journey easy. Overall I would rate it 7 out of 10.

Cons:
LXK2 LITTLE MARTIN
LXK2 LITTLE MARTIN is an Acoustic guitar with a 23" Scale length, and 20 total frets. It's made up of HPL means high-pressure laminates. HPL is a type of plastic that looks like wood. LXK2 LITTLE MARTIN is completely made up with HPL. Other Mini guitars we have on our list are made with the two types of woods but it's completely HPL.
This is the reason LXK2 LITTLE MARTIN is cheaper. Does it mean they sound poor? Not at all. LXK2 LITTLE MARTIN produce a bold and deep tone that surprised me. It sounds better than many other costly Acoustic guitars. It's good for smaller hands. Build can stand with some rough occasions in traveling. Its size makes them comfortable to play for a couple of hours and the Soft Gig bag makes travel easy. Overall it's a Beginner friendly and good option for kids.

Cons:
Fender CP-100 PARLOR
If you want a good quality acoustic guitar at an affordable price Fender CP-100 Parlor is your type of instrument. Spruce top with Mahogany Back and side produce a rich and deep tone. Satin finish enhances the beauty. I have seen very few mini acoustic guitars that produce the equal quality sound as full-size Guitar and CP-100 Parlor is one of them.
It has some flaws and that is obvious when the build is laminated but I am surprised by the volume it gives. Overall it's a must-have instrument if you are searching for a travel-friendly, lightweight 3/4 guitar. Playability is another pro that impressed me. CP-100 Parlor with fender-coated string can stand with all environmental challenges you may face during travel and offers a smooth and enjoyable experience.
I don't expect too much at this price tag but I must say it's a value-for-the-money product with lightweight, nice design, and nice build quality. A spruce top laminated body offers great projection and mahogany back delivers a sustainable resonant and balanced tone. If you are a beginner you must think about it. If your child wants a compact, good-looking guitar CP-100 Parlor is a good option despite having some weaknesses.

Cons:
Gretsch G9520
Do you love vintage guitars back in 40' and 50'? If your answer is yes! your search ends near the G9500 JIM DANDY Acoustic Parlor Guitar. G9500 JIM DANDY is a Non-cutaway guitar that delivers better bass and full volume. Though lack of projection is an issue with it I would not say it's something abnormal. Almost all 3/4 size guitars have this issue due to their small body. Agathis top with the X-bracing delivers a punchy midrange tone.
Agathis is generally used in cheaper and midrange guitars. G9500 JIM DANDY is under $200 which has some obvious drawbacks which you find in any cheaper guitars. But comparing the price with the performance it's very good. It performs better than its price. It has a C-shape neck with 18 frets and a 24" scale length. Overall it's great for beginners, kids, and non-professionals who want to play guitar as their hobby. But I will not recommend it for professional use because of its average sound quality. Agathis is a softer wood that lacks resonance.

Conclusion
We have seen the 10 best Acoustic Mini guitars with pros and Cons. I observed that Taylor's Guitars are expensive compared to others but they also produce better tonality and overall sound quality than others. But the main question is why do you want to purchase a guitar? Do you want to buy a guitar for your kid? Then comfort and Playability should be your first preference.
If you are thinking to buy it for an adult who is a beginner too then you should prefer a guitar with metal strings. if you are a lefty check the orientation first then go ahead. I think you should balance the cost and quality. Guitars with Mahogany and spruce are of good quality. That's not necessarily true in all cases but generally Mahogany produce good resonance.
