Drop & THX came together for a purpose. They both worked hard and delivered a great performing headphone called Drop + THX panda.
Before knowing about Drop THX Panda wireless headphones let's discuss who is drop and THX in short.
Who is Drop?
The drop which is formerly known as Massdrop is a San Francisco-based e-commerce company. It is a community-driven platform where the community members discuss and decide on a product. Mass negotiates for the large buy discounts and passes on that discount to the purchaser.

This is the short introduction for those who donβt know anything about Drop and THX.
Now Without further delay let's review Drop Panda Wireless Headphone.
Pros:
Cons:
Sound
Build
Comfort
Value
Bottom Line:
I want to conclude the whole story in one sentence. Drop THX panda is not for everyone. It makes one group of people happy but someone who wants all-around performance they will not be happy with it.
As I said Build quality is good but it's not comfortable. When I compared Drop Panda wireless headphones with other wireless headphones like Sony WH-1000 XM4 and Airpods Max These 2 are more comfortable than Drop Panda.
When we move to the sound Drop Panda is the truly amazing and undoubted winner. very minor distortion, great instrument separation, clean vocals. Everything is amazing if you ask about the sound review of Drop Panda.
It supports audio codecs like LDAC, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, AAC, and SBC that makes it better than its competitors
If you are buying it for pure performance you should go ahead. but if you want good ANC, impressive microphone quality, premium comfort then try Sony XM4 or Airpods Max.
How is the Design and Build Quality of Drop THX Panda?
When we talk about design we canβt ignore these 3 important points. Comfort, Build quality, and Fit. Drop THX Panda is a well-built headphone with an IPX 6 certification.
Build: Drop THX Panda is made up of plastic. Build quality is good but not the best. The hinges are nice and smoothly turn as you want. What I don't like much is the headband. It needs little effort to retract and extend and also produce unwanted noise which I didn't like. Though most of the part is plastic, Drop Panda is heavier than Sony MH-1000 XM3 and XM4. It weighs almost 375g which is more than Sony WH-1000XM3 and XM4. both weighs almost 255 g
Apple's Airpods Max weighs almost 386g which is slightly heavier than Drop THX panda. But the metal slider of the Airpods max is the reason why Airpods Max is heavier. But I think Drop Panda is unnecessarily heavy. Makers of Panda should cut the extra weight.
Comfort & Fit: Earpads are comfortable and well-cushioned. You can also buy separate earpads with options like Sheepskin or velour cover. The problem started when I noticed its headband. Headbands have very little padding. Little padding reduces the level of comfort. I can't use them for a couple of hours continuously.
There should be more padding on top. Another issue that I noticed is the weight of the drop panda which makes it less comfortable.
When I wore them for the first time I felt that the clamping force of THX Panda should be less. let's move to the earcups. Ear Cups are good and comfortable. for a moment I felt these earcups are like XM4's earcups. Overall Drop THX panda wireless headphones are well-built but less comfortable.
How is the Sound Performance of Drop THX Panda?
One word for the Sound of Drop THX Panda. Awesome! This is the most important feature. Awesome performance is the only reason I could neglect some other negative points of it.
Vocals are crisp. Instrument separation is much better than XM4 and Airpods Max. Drop Panda is so loud that I couldn't listen to the music with the largest sound it has. I heard with 80% of max volume. Are you an Audiophile? If the answer is yes then nothing is better than Drop panda wireless headphones. distortion is so minor that I couldn't notice it quickly. If you want heavy bass, Drop Panda is not for you.
Though they don't have active noise cancellation they isolate you from the noise. But this is not that impressive.
Is Panda wireless headphones a perfect gaming headphones? No, They are not perfect for gaming but they are perfect if you want premium quality Sound.
If you need brighter EQ and crisp vocals with negligible distortion you will not get any better than Drop Panda.
Microphone: Drop Panda has dual microphones. I compared microphone quality with Apple Airpods Pro and Sony WH-1000 XM4. Among these 3 I found XM4 is the best if you ask me the winner. Though Drop Panda is better than Airpods Pro. Drop THX also gives you the choice of using an optional Boom mic. This is a Noise-canceling condenser-type microphone but you have to pay an extra $49 to get it.
How is the Connectivity of Drop THX Panda?
5.0 Bluetooth with LDAC, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, AAC, and SBC codecs support Drop THX Panda is the best choice for audiophiles.
It also has the feature to connect with the 2 devices. But I noticed that it takes some seconds to switch from one device to another. That's not a big deal though.
How is the Charging and Battery performance of Drop THX Panda?
Drop THX Panda claims that they give 30 hours of battery life. I tested it and found it true. I am not surprised with its battery playtime because it doesn't have an Active noise cancellation feature. Drop Panda also supports fast charging. 10 minutes of charging can give you 3 hours of playtime and that's a good thing but not something unique. It takes 2 hours for 100 % charging.
Price: When We discuss the price my opinion is it's very specific and depends on your budget and need. It depends on who you are. If you are an audiophile or a professional in the audio or music industry $400 is not a big deal. Though you are not a professional but a music lover who loves the best instrumental separation, crispy vocals, loud music with no distortion price of Drop THX panda will not bother you.
If you want all-around performance on a budget this headphone is not for you. It's purely for audiophiles.
