In the end, I will say it would be a great purchase for those who are looking for the perfect gaming headset on the budget. In 2014 Game zero entered the market with a $279 price tag. Overall performance doesn't justify This price tag but now in 2022 anyone can get it by spending less than $100 and for this price tag it will be a great deal. I highly recommend it at this price tag.

Now let me tell you its pros in short. Sennheiser Game zero is extremely comfortable. It's highly portable and also looks premium. The carrying case comes with it looks beautiful and convenient if you travel often. Headbands and ear cups are highly comfortable with having memory foam. The hinges look sturdy and durable. the overall rating for the design is 9.5 out of 10. Now let's go for audio. The Bass is superb.

Game zero has an impressive soundstage despite its closed-back design which is appreciable. But mids and treble is the area where it lost some marks. But the overall audio performance of Game zero fulfills the criteria for a gaming headset. Mic reduces the outside noise but it's not perfect. It couldn't eliminate the noise.

Overall it's a perfect package with a reasonable price and after reviewing it I must say it must be on the list of good gaming headsets under $100. Big thumbs up. Well done Sennheiser.

How is the Design and Build Quality of Sennheiser Game Zero?

Let's start with the look. Sennheiser Game zero looks premium with the black and red color combination. I feel Ear Cups are oversize but extremely comfortable. You will not bother at all by wearing them for many hours. Game zero has a flexible design that makes it portable.

I liked this foldable design very much. Ear Cups are so soft because they are made up of a triple layer of memory foam with a leather cover. This large size of ear cups gives another advantage. It provides better sealing to the ear that avoids outside noise as well as gives more immersive sound.

The headband is highly comfortable with having the same material used in earcups. The hinges between the earcups and headband look sturdy and premium and I think they are perfect for the long run so there is no issue with the durability.

Another great thing about game zero is its nice-looking carrying case. This case also has a handle so that you can easily hold and carry it. The mic is flexible and works perfectly. Mic has built-in noise-canceling that eliminates outside noise. I still found faint noise even after noise-canceling was on. It is quite easy to mute the communication with your partners.

Just push the mic up and you mute it. Sennheiser game zero is the best combination of premium look, durability, portability, and convenience. They have given a knob to raise or lower the volume which is at the perfect position. I found it pretty easy to use. I should not forget to tell you about the small pocket inside the carrying case that can be used to keep extra accessories. In the carrying case, you get one long audio cable. This cable is long. I think it shouldn't have been so long but it's my personal opinion.

I wish Sennheiser should include a combo audio adapter which they missed. If you want to use Game zero with Xbox One and PS4 combo adapter is a must-have thing. If you ask me for the rating I will give 9 or 9.5 out of 10 for the design of Sennheiser game zero.

How is the Sound Performance of Sennheiser Game Zero?

Game zero is a Closed-back headphone with a Frequency response of 15–28,000 Hz and 150Ω impedance. I enjoyed the performance of game zero. The sound was crystal clear and immersive due to the large ear cups. This is a closed-back headphone so I didn't expect much soundstage. The bass is great but the treble is not that impressive.

As Sennheiser tried for a better soundstage but at the same time they slightly compromised in mids. Overall performance is quite satisfying. Excellent Bass and impressive soundstage are the pros but the lackluster treble and poor mids are the concern. I would give 7.5 to 8 out of 10 for the performance of game zero.
