If you own AirPods or AirPods Pro and thinking of upgrading, you have many reasons to do so. Apple users rarely compromise less than the best and today's Airpods is better than its Previous version.
We are talking about Airpods Pro 2. For Android mobile users this may not be a great cause to upgrade, but iPhone users certainly get the most out of it. Let's list down the reasons why Apple's AirPods Pro 2 is the best candidate as a winner and worth purchasing. So Without delay, let's review Airpods Pro 2.

Who should get AirPods Pro 2?
I would say AiPods Pro 2 are the best only for iPhone users, you can also use them with Android but you can’t use them with its full potential and features.
What’s in the box?
- AirPods Pro2 earbuds
- MagSafe charging case with built-in speaker and Lanyard loop
- Silicone ear tips (XS,S,M,L)
- USB-C charging cable
Bottom Line:
Like many experts said and I agree with them, AirPods Pro 2 is better than AirPods one by all means, though some users prefer AirPods one over airpods two because they love sound quality of AirPods 1 the other features like better noise canceling ability with two additional hours of battery playtime and crystal clear sound I would prefer AirPods Pro 2 over AirPods 1.
The H2 chip turned the game. What you get with this chip is better processing ability which reflects in noise cancellation performance, battery life and calling. The most noteworthy upgrade is the charging case which now comes with USB C charging and built-in speaker helps you to find your lost Airpods Pro 2.
Like any other AirPods, AirPods Pro 2 are a bit pricey but worth every penny. If you have AirPods Pro 1 and are thinking of upgrading I would say you must think about this new AirPods Pro 2.
How is the Design and Build Quality of AirPods Pro 2?
The AirPods Pro 2 earbuds measure 22X31 mm and weigh 5 grams each. This is only a negligible difference from the first generation AirPods Pro, making it difficult to spot any changes in weight. The charging case weighs 50 grams. Despite expectations for a reduction, the stem size remains the same as previous models.
The AirPods Pro 2 is compact and easily fits in your pocket. The previous version had an IPX4 rating, but the updated version is now rated IP54, offering protection against dust and water drops. However, it's important to note that the AirPods Pro 2 is not completely waterproof. Both the earbuds and the charging case are IP52 rated, providing some relief from worries about moisture and dust.
One noticeable difference in the noise-cancelling microphone placement is that instead of inside the bud they are placed now outside the bud for the better processing of noise cancellation.
Let's talk about the color. I don't understand why Airpods earbuds come in only white color. its rivals give many alternatives but Airpods Pro 2 is only available in Glossy white.
Let's talk about what comes in the box. Along with the AirPods Pro 2 earbuds, you get a MagSafe charging case with a USB C charging port, lanyard loop and Built-in speaker, silicone ear tips with four sizes S, M, L, and XS mean extra small, USB C charging cable, and documentation.
Now, if you have small ear canals, you can try XS for a better fit, I hope they will also include XL-size ear tips for large ears in the next upgrade.
The most significant update in the upgraded AirPods Pro 2 is its charging case. This new MagSafe wireless charging case has a Built-in speaker and U1 chip. we will try to discuss in detail the battery and charging section of the U1 chip. This upgraded charging case also has a slot for attaching a Lanyard but you have to purchase the Lanyard separately.
I shouldn't forget to tell you about the swipe control of the Airpods Pro 2, located on the stem. It is used to increase or decrease the volume. It's slightly at the side of the stem and not on the outer side.
Overall, I am pretty convinced that upgrades in the new Airpods Pro 2, especially the changes in the charging case and the noteworthy change in the position of the NC microphone, are game changers. For those reasons, I would rate it 9.5 out of 10 for the build and design of Airpods Pro 2.
How to use touch control

- Press once to answer a call or mute or unmute
- Press twice to end a call
- Press twice to skip forward
- Press three times to skip back
- Press and hold to switch between listening modes
- Swipe up or down to adjust volume
How is the Sound Performance of AirPods Pro 2?
Sound is another area where AirPods Pro 2 shines the most after battery and charging performance. As we discussed H2 chip not only makes the bud more power efficient but also helps to deliver better sound. Airpods Pro 2 has a new Custom high-excursion Apple driver and high dynamic range amplifier combined work and produce very crystal clear sound that isn't only on paper but in the real world too.
Pro 2 has better and punchier bass. Compared to the previous generation Airpods Pro2 is louder and powerful. I am not sure but I guess it's because of drivers and H2's processing capability. I didn't need more than 60-70% volume level while testing different genres.
Adaptive EQ is a beautiful feature that enhanced my listening experience. It works according to the fit of AirPods Pro 2 in your ear. Bud has an inward-facing microphone that measures what we hear and adjusts the frequency according to it so that you get consistent frequency responses in all frequency ranges.
Many audiophiles were hoping that AirPods Pro 2 will support Lossless audio but this feature is still missing here.
There is the perfect balanced mids and not so bright highs which doesn’t make you irritated when entering in the respective frequency. Overall, I would rate 9.5 out of 10 for the sound quality, Consistent frequency response and punchy bass with loud sound.
ANC
Another most important feature which decides your decision of purchase is how it performs in the ANC department and I must say it can give tough fight to some of the leading names in the ANC area.
Though it isn’t as good as over-ear headphones because it hasn't the best possible sealing against outside noise, Airpods Pro 2 still compete with these giants. It perfectly cancels low frequency noises and greatly reduces the high frequency noises. To get the most out of it make sure you have proper fit. For the reason, choosing the right ear tip size is crucial.
Transparency mode works best and allows you to use AiPods Pro 2 for commuting and travel. As I said, one microphone is placed on the outer side of the bud which catches the outside noise and cancels it effectively.
Calling
With the two beamforming microphones, AirPods Pro 2 works better than its previous generation. While talking on the phone Airpods Pro reduces the background noise instead of completely eliminate the noise to make your calling crystal clear. This may feel disappointing sometimes because you still hear some noise. The same is true when you use it for calling in windy background noise. For the reason I would rate the AirPods Pro 2 7.5 to 8 out of 10.
How is the Connectivity of AirPods Pro 2?
with the 5.3 Bluetooth and H2 cheap, connectivity has improved significantly. You get the SBC and AAC codecs which isn't something special. the same you get in any other headphones.
How to connect AirPods Pro 2 with an iPhone?
Do these steps if you are connecting Your AirPods Pro 2 with your iPhone for the first time.
Go to the Home screen and open the charging case. make sure your Airpods Pro 2 are in the charging case. hold the case close to the iPhone and you will get the option "connect". If you face an issue connecting the AirPods to your iPhone, make sure your iPhone has updated with the latest iOS version.
put both the Airpods in the charging case and make sure they are charging. then close the lid of the case and open it after a few seconds. these steps should resolve your issue of connection.
I never faced an issue while connecting AirPods to an iPhone. these steps are just for your help.
I believe AirPods Pro 2 has a Solid and stable connection so I am happy with the connectivity feature of these. 1st generation's connectivity was also equally solid.
How is the Charging and Battery performance of AirPods Pro 2?
The major difference between the first and second generation of AirPods Pro is the charging case, improved battery life, and the method of charging. The original AirPods Pro only had a lightning cable connector, but the updated AirPods Pro 2 come with USB-C enabling, which was a highly demanded feature.
The improved battery performance of AirPods Pro 2 delivers 1.5 to 2 hours of additional battery life on a single charge, thanks to the U1 chip. Additionally, the charging case now includes a built-in speaker
The speaker emits a sound that helps you locate its exact position using the "find my" feature. This is a helpful feature for finding any lost Apple device. Although Apple hasn't mentioned a built-in AirTag in the AirPods Pro 2 charging case, I believe it has one.
Another great feature of the upgraded AirPods 2 is that the charging case can be charged in multiple ways. You can use a QI charging pad, a MagSafe charging case, an Apple Watch charging pad, or the most common method, a USB-C wired charging case.
It's very rare, but if you try to charge AirPods Pro 2 in the AirPods 1 charging case, you can't do that. I haven't tried it myself, but I read about it in a discussion thread on Apple's official forum.
Apple is trying hard to increase the life of the battery by preventing overheating of the battery. With the help of an optimized charging feature
You get up to 30 hours of listening time with the charging case. if you don't want Spatial audio then turn off the spatial audio which improves the playtime. most crucial feature nowadays is fast charging. You get 60 minutes of playtime with 5 minutes charge.
Apple did well in the charging and battery life area for the Airpods Pro 2 which deserves 9 out of 10 in this department. Turning Off the ANC and Spatial audio increases the battery life which you must remember to improve the battery performance and lifespan.
