I can sum up about Jaybird X3 shortly like they are pretty good for exercise and sports. I found the most appreciable thing in X3 is its ultimate comfort and Fit. You can easily wrap them around your neck while cycling, running, or exercising as they are good sweat resistors but they are not completely water-resistant. They are ipx7 rated and also have good battery backup Also you can stuff the buds in your pocket because of the protective case.
Jaybird has included all the essential accessories inside the box. I felt a little sad for lower sound notes but again they are awesome at bass and high music. Though they have good battery backup, you have to take care of charging accessories otherwise you have to follow a lengthy procedure of asking for another one which is time-consuming and boring.

The X3, third edition of Jaybird's famous wireless Bluetooth sports headphones. The manufacturer has done a light touch-up to X3 as compared with its previous model X2 but this slight makeover brought a great change in its look. Though the plastic used in X3 is even cheaper than that of X2, it did not harm the look and comfort of the headphones.
Light-weighted 0.63 ounces including fins and tips. Jaybird X3 looks smaller than X2 but new wings and ear-tips make them a little heavier. Still, they are not that bulky to wear whether you are steady or have any bodily movement.
The included cord wrapped in a box is 19.29 inches long which is pretty comfortable for the back of the neck. The manufacturer has used hi-fi 6mm drivers which enables the headphones to offer crystal clear and enthusiastic sound.
Silicone ear fins attached at the back/bottom add more comfort fitness. Though the ipx rating is not mentioned by the manufacturer, the latest hydrophobic nano-coating makes it sweat and water-resistant.

Connecting to X3 is quite simple. You can connect them to your device within 10 seconds. You also can connect them to two different devices at a time. 4.1 Bluetooth offers you a pretty well connected from a distance of 20-25 feet. Of course, there is a difference between the performance of 4.1 and 5.0 Bluetooth versions but at this price range, it's quite acceptable. Though they are slightly stuck in between, it hardly matters. I am happy with the connection strength of X3.
How is the Charging and Battery performance of Jaybird X3 earbuds?
Jaybird claims that X3 gives full 8 hours of playback time at normal volume. Though, X3 was not able to work for complete 8 hours after playing at fullest volume. But still battery performance of X3 is appreciable. The company has provided a charging accessory that can be connected to a USB cable. But you have to be a little organized in maintaining the accessories because, if you misplace the charging cable then you have no option other than asking the customer care to provide another one. This was a little disappointing for me as I am very bad at organizing things.
