Though Bose Quietcomfort hit the market for its premium noise canceling and comfort, Sony has always been users’ choice for its supreme noise canceling and comfort but missed out on its price. Surprisingly, this didn’t happen with Sony WH-CH710N as it is pretty affordable for headgear lovers.

Should you buy Sony WH-CH710N?
If you want something which is adjustable for both professional and personal use then Sony WH-CH710N can be a pretty good choice for you. Strong battery life and solid ANC are really satisfying. Though the headbands don’t look that attractive but soft and comfy padding will let you ignore the look.
Though they are ready to wear for hours and hours but due to lack of hinges, you cannot smash them in a bag-pack. Whether you want easy-to-carry or easy-to-wear headphones is completely your call. The pleasing sound experience is also pretty well but not as good as its big bro Sony WH-1000XM4. But again you need to pay some more extra amount for it.
The bottom line is if you want a decent pair of over-ear headgears with strong ANC, a powerful battery that should have solid Bluetooth, and a combination of comfy headbands with delightful sound then Sony WH-CH710N is for you, but again if you are ready to pay a bit more then you may go with Sony WH-1000XM4.
How is the Design and Build Quality of WH-CH710N?
It feels a bit heavy while wearing over-ear ear cups but fortunately, this didn’t happen with WH-CH710N. Opening the packaging you are greeted with 14 ounces of light-weighted wireless over-ear cups which feel truly light-weighted. Comfy padding makes the headgears ready to wear for hours and hours.
The headphones are entirely made up of plastic. Round ear cups are covered by soft and comfy cushions. The headband is also covered with soft padding. This adds more softness to the head crown. Though the round design doesn’t look that attractive of course comfort is more important than look.
Though the earcups are not that flexible like BOSE QC it swivels 90 degrees and can sleep flat, but the absence of hinges don't allow these crowns to fold and smash in the bag-pack. You can wear WH-CH710N for activities like gym, cycling but I would not recommend this for fast-moving activities like running as they may slip off while fast head movement.

How is the Sound Performance of WH-CH710N?
One of the significant features of any headphones is their sound. While talking about Sony WH-CH710N, they do pretty well in this department. 30mm (1.2”) driver units used in WH-CH710N offer crystal pure sound clarity with engaging music.
They did a remarkable job for the treble as well as low notes. As per our experience with Sony WH-CH710N during our review period, the headgears seem joyful treble music players. They play soothing music even at the maximum sound level. Bass is also quite good but we can’t call them the mighty bass performers as they feel a bit flat.
If you play them at 100% high volume then the music may come out from the ear cup which can be disturbing for other people in the room. Overall, they are good at playing soothing and engaging music. The bass is also good but not that powerful. Otherwise, you will enjoy every bit of music when you put Sony WH-CH710N over your ears.
How is the Active noise canceling of WH-CH710N?
One of the biggest reasons we are paying for ANC headphones is strong ANC (active noise canceling). As I already said, Sony WH-CH710N is a strong isolator to focus better in chaos. The headphones perform well in the area of noise canceling. It is worth saying that the company has offered the same as they have advertised about ANC.
Dual noise sensor technology and perfect padding make the isolation good. The latest ` (Automatic artificial intelligence noise canceling function automatically detects the most effective sound waves and instantly emits canceling sound so that you will not only dive into the music ocean but also can concentrate better on professional tasks like meetings or conferences.
No worries if you are driving or want to hear outside noise. You can toggle your headphones to ambient mode if you want to listen to outside sound also Just put the headphones on ambient mode and enjoy flawless music with safe outside alerts.
How is the Charging and Battery performance of WH-CH710N?
Again, one of the favorite features of the Sony WH-CH710N is its battery backup. One full charge offers a strong 35 hours of battery life which is quite impressive, isn't it? The built-in Li-ion strong battery means your headphones will stay charged for hours without out of juice intimations. We mostly kept a high volume with ANC during our review period. I was happy to see that my puffy headbands were giving almost equivalent playtime as that advertised. One more thing worth saying is just a quick charge of 10 minutes will offer you 60 minutes of playtime.
How is the Connectivity of WH-CH710N?
Connecting Sony WH-CH710N to your device is super cool. You can connect the headphones to the device in two ways. The first one is our usual Bluetooth pairing. Just press the power button for a couple of seconds till the headphones turn on, and then connect them to the device through Bluetooth settings.
Another way for paring is NFC (Near field communication). Just hold your Android phone to the NFC logo which is on the left earcup. You will get a pop-up on your phone asking for permission to connect the headphones to the device. Allow it and enjoy seamless amenities.
Solid 5.0 Bluetooth technology used in Sony WH-CH710N builds strong connectivity. I could manage my work by wearing headphones up to a distance of 30 feet. This was quite happy and obvious. I just would like to add, if you want something very high-quality sound then you can plug in 3.5mm of included cable. This will give you a more joyful and pleasing sound experience than that of wireless mode.
Eventually, Sony WH-CH710N is good for solid connectivity and easy pairing with two pairing ways. Also, you can use them with the wire that USB-C cable already included in the packaging.
