If you love Apple Airpods Pro or similar-looking earbuds but don't want to spend much, Tozo NC2 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Earbuds can be the best alternative for less than $50.
I won't compare Airpods Pro and Tozo NC2. Both belong to different price ranges. But the features and pros NC2 delivered at such a low price attracted me towards this tiny gear. You can get them for just $40 and I am convinced that these are the value for the money wireless earbuds.
Tozo isn't a new name for me. I already have Tozo T6 and Tozo T10. and I am pretty happy with them. So, what's the reason for testing Tozo NC2? I will tell you a couple of reasons why did I get these AirPods-like wireless earbuds. As I said they look like Apple AirPods pro and they are widely popular. I wanted to check why these pairs are loved by people.

Bottom Line:
I can list the reasons to have Tozo NC2 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Earbuds.
They are cheaper. It has so many features like wired and wireless charging, Active noise cancelling, decent battery life with ANC and without ANC, an IPX6 water-resistant body that can survive the rain or drops of water, and the most advanced Bluetooth 5.2.
It's just not on paper. It connects in less than seconds. Bluetooth connection is fast and stable.
Tozo NC2 surprisingly comes with 5 extra sets of ear tips. I shouldn't expect more than these pros at this price point. With these pros, some cons also come with Tozo NC2.
Though makers are marketing NC2 as noise-canceling earbuds, they do a pretty average job in the ANC department. They don't look premium. Yes! I shouldn't expect them to look premium at $40.
But some earbuds look like premium gear even at the price point Tozo NC2 has. Overall, I strongly suggest buying Tozo NC2 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Earbuds.
How is the Design and Build Quality of Tozo NC2?
Nowadays, Many true wireless earbuds have Stem-style designs. When I tried the AirPods pro for the first time, Stem was a new concept for me. This kind of design has its pros.
Stem on the earbuds makes the handling and touch controls easy to operate. You can easily insert and remove the buds into ear canals. If you love the stem-style design at an affordable price, Tozo NC2 Hybrid ANC wireless earbuds can be a decent alternative to Airpods pro.
Tozo NC2 is comparatively larger than AirPods Pro. With the 8 mm dynamic driver, they deliver a decent sound. Tozo NC2 has touch controls on both of the pieces which have different functions to operate.
The charging case of Tozo NC2 is small, compact, and easy to fit in your pocket. Makers of NC2 worked on every minor detail and made them convenient to use. The charging case has 4 LED light indicators that shows you charging level.
The charging case also has USB C charging port to charge it with the USB C cable that comes in the package. Tozo NC2 is a complete package because it has IPX6 water-resistant body.
That means it's ok to use NC2 with water drops or rain. Let's talk something about fit and comfort. Tozo NC2 is extremely comfortable and fits well into ear canals. It comes with 5 ear tips pairs of small, medium, and large sizes.
Overall it is well-designed and fits well by choosing the proper size of ear tips. Though I must admit that stem-size design has their cons, They aren't as tight as wing-style earbuds like Apple Beats Powerbeats pro.
Below is the table that gives you a fair idea about different touch controls and how to use them.

How is the Sound Performance of Tozo NC2?
I would say a decent sound at the given price. Tozo NC2 has a slightly V-shaped profile. Which means punchy bass and pleasant treble you can hear with Tozo NC2. It has a frequency range of 15Hz to 20Khz, which is enough for casual listening.
Neither we can expect more range with a small driver size. Though they haven't mentioned driver size, I guess it's a 7.5-8mm dynamic driver. Tozo NC2 isn't so loud. Those who want more loudness won't like these much. Tozo NC2 doesn't come with EQ settings which is a con I would say.
How is the Connectivity of Tozo NC2?
Now, let's go for connectivity. Tozo NC2 has a 5.2 Bluetooth version which isn't just on paper. It truly gives a fast and stable connection. with the one-step pairing, it quickly connects to your phone or whatever device you are connected with them.
If you connect them with your phone for the first time then you don't need to connect every time manually. It detects your phone once you open the charging case and connects within a second.
How is the Charging and Battery performance of Tozo NC2?
First of all thanks to the Tozo NC2 for having dual charging features. It has wireless as well as wired charging. For wired charging they are packed with USB C cable. it has 4 LED indicators that show you the charging status of the charging case.
If four LED bulbs are on it means the charging case is fully charged. Tozo NC2 stores 42 hours of charging with the charging case. with the ANC off it gives 10 hrs of playtime.
with ANC it can go up to 7 hrs. Optical sensor technology also helps to save the battery. It turns off the music when you take the buds out of the ear canals and resume them when worn inside.
with the quick charging it gives 1.5 hrs of playtime with just 10 minutes charge. I will give 8 out of 10 for battery performance because it gives what it claims.
